WeatherPro App Reviews
Netatmo
I really love Weather Pro on my iPhone, and wished the mac version could show my Netatmo datas too. But it’s not…
While all the features of the ios version are present, the maps section is in a narrow left margin and can’t be resized or undocked. This makes you scroll around a tiny maps window. If you want to zoom in, it is even worse. This should be very easy to improve for even a hardly experienced programmer. It is not really an acceptable condition and should be improved asap.
Netatmo Integration fehlt
Link for Netatmo is missing.
I use this app heavily on iOS devices, and it works great. The OS X version has problems though, and the devleopers are not maintaining it well for recent OS X versions (e.g. El Capitan). It used to work better for Yosemit. For example, scrolling does not work well in the windows, you are unable to click on a day and get the hourly forecasts like on the iOS version, and there are long delays (not network related) when toggling between different cities. Users also have limited options for how they can resize the window.I would not recommend buying this app. Find something different, or stick to the iOS version.
Weatherpro
Very nice interface, tons of infofrmation, easy to read. However, it seems to crash frequently.
Crashes frequently and opens always with Berlin as the default city. Really inferior to the iPhone and iPad applications. No Netamo tie-in. The current version is not really useable and needs a major update!
It crashes all the time
i love the idea behind it but it really needs to be more stable… please come out with update bug fix soon
Meh.
More money down the drain. Average at best.
Visually appealing weather offering from a European Weather company, the app offers in app purchases that extend the data set. My suggestions for the app: Better radar integration- the app’s radar display is a strict relief map with no boundaries. This would especially be good during inclimate weather. Route Planning weather- the ability to plan a route and given the time and speed calculate the weather during the road trip.
A worthless utility as all 5 Beavertons are identified as "Beaverton USA." Which one is Beaverton OR? The satellite/Radar map does hot show anything helpful data to identify which is which. There is no zoom function. Lack of a zoom ability for the maps is a big omission. If I could zoom out I might be able to see where the dot is in the USA. Based on the inability to locate my location this utility is worthless. A waste of 99¢.
